I grew up in Council Bluffs, Iowa and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School. I then went to Iowa Western for two years and later transferred to Creighton University where I completed my undergraduate studies. I maintained full-time employment throughout my undergraduate studies, primarily in the banking industry and continued working in that industry following my undergraduate studies until I was able to save enough money to attend law school. I began attending law school in 2017 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Law and graduated in 2020.

I have been licensed since 2021 and worked for two firms prior to starting my own law office, during that period of employment I mostly practiced family and criminal law.
My banking experience ranges from retail banking to mortgage lending. I am very well acquainted with banking regulations and reporting guidelines.
