A client charged with sexual assault use of electronic communication device, which is punishable by a mandatory minimum term of 3 years and a maximum of 50 years as well as a sex offender registry requirement, plead to a misdemeanor charge following a hung jury of 11-1 in favor of Not Guilty. Client was not required to register for sex offender registry pursuant to the plea agreement.
